Ok so back to the point...
...What's the score on getting involved? What does a band have to do as a first step to use you as a resource?

We look at each band /solo artists individually. There's no hard and fast rules. If they are off reasonable standard and have been together 12 months and play their own material we'll record them live or a studio demo. Its a difficult question to answer as each band is different. We wont record if a band needs to do more work but who's to say that?

You can tell if a band are serious and put the effort in to play and write their own stuff - we record bands who do this. Like I said before we're very busy at the moment as the project is run by volunteers who do other jobs etc...But there will be space coming up in the not too distant future. Probably after we finish the video we're working on at the moment. Our aim is to give bands and solo artists "stuff" that will help them make cash. So for example we'll record them a demo so they can sell it,use it to get gigs or promote themselves in the media. The stuff we do for free with bands is offset by business contracts who pay. Thats how we keep running - but I digress...

What any band who's interested needs to do is send us a email ( through our website details below) about themselves with demo tracks included if they have them on myspace/soundcloud or other site that hosts demos.

If they dont have a demo yet then we'll try and get to a rehearsal or gig. And also let us know what they want ie 3 track studio demo, live recording and video. Not forgeting to include contact details - a phone number is always good. Then we'll contact them to have a chat and take it from there.
