I'm just pointing out that on average the Bridgend contingent seem to be pretty retarded :)

Ahh yes, you be correct.

And on the topic at hand, I've never really cared where my money would go for gigs, at the end of the day its a good night out like!

I'm from Bridgend and not retarded, though that's arguable.
I'm not homophobic, all right? Come round, look at my CDs. You'll see Queen, George Michael, Pet Shop Boys. They're all bummers.

Cheers for the interest dude.

Unfortunately for all the shit-stormers on here the girls weren't smote by an angry SWM reading supreme being for initially funding, organising, running and working at an event and then doing something they're perfectly entitled to with the money.

Wicked night, great turnout and vibe throughout the whole venue. Livestock Davies were wicked, I'm pretty oblivious to the rockabilly scene but they struck me as a fine example and really brought the party with them... you should see the bassist and his missus jive! Really great to see some of the Cardiff girls made it to the show too.

Actually really surprised that it raised a total of £280 after costs between door takings, cake and craft stalls and BBQ. The girls will be meeting up sometime in the week to decide exactly what they'll be getting but from what I can gather it'll allow them to get enough kit for 3 or 4 newcomers at time to try out for a couple of sessions before they're expected to buy their own kit. It'll probably also go towards things like cones and tape for floor markers.
