I already sort of hinted on this in my dubstep thread that I posted in the self promotion part, didn't notice this part of the forum.

I've seen a few forums that allow the embedding of a soundcloud player, would be nice to be able to do it here. Not sure how you go about being able to do this, but the code is usually the same as the youtube code, replaced by "soundcloud" e.g link">link.

Since a lot of people upload their own music to that website, I think it would make a good addition, especially to the music forum.. which is pretty dead. It would also be nice to get to embed the player into my signature too - since it's very small anyway.

This is just a suggestion, nothing that I'm really expecting to be followed up on too much.

Have you tried using the

[media]http://whatever[/media]

tags? I've looked on the site and can't see anything to guide forum people into allowing their player to be embedded...

Brilliant! It could be something to do with soundcloud.. it does that sometimes. I checked another forum and it seems the links work there though.

Still not having any luck sorry. I might try post on their message board or something tomorrow, see if anyone else has had problems.
