Haha, that's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Is the guy with the beret deaf? Are they like the new GLC or something, or is it actually a sketch from a Welsh comedy programme? Amazing!

Headcase Ladz have probably been around as long as the GLC. Swansea's version on a similar theme.

Not into hip rap so wouldn't know this. I have to admit, I thought it was serious and I was being sarcastic. It's not funny, just awful. I assume all hip rap sounds like this?

Headcase Ladz have been around since the early 90s IIRC? They might have started under a different name

I saw Headcase Ladz play somewhere a few years ago and they were really fun live, but their album has the worst production I have ever heard, the levels are everywhere, it really is almost unlistenable.

kinda not the point really, they have done tons of stuff. it's lo-fi, but it's fun and a lot of their stuff is fucking awesome, and hilarious. they're also really good salt of the earth blokes, and they're Wales' own. GLC were a fun band, good for their time but lost it as soon as they signed (since their samples got diluted).

these are pretty much public domain as one of em sent these to me... (i'm no authority on this stuff)

Dont get me wrong, I'm not expecting Dr Dre type crispness on every track, but you kinda do need to at least be able to make out what the emcees are saying. They were fun when I saw them live, and I think if somebody sorted the levels out on the album I have there would probabley be a few bangers on there, but honestly, the production is so off it's unreal, you can't hear the emcees at all on at least half the album. I heard they're a decent bunch of guys though, a mate of mine from Caerphilly knows them pretty well, and one of them tattooed somebody else I know, and she also told me they're a good crowd.

EDIT: I'll check out your links when I get home from work, I can't download here at the moment.
