  1. Well it's swings and roundabouts really. You did miss out on 6 seasons of a very well written, very compelling TV show. But on the plus side you were never let down by it.
  2. You might end up wishing you'd stuck with having only watched up to the end of S6...
  3. Agreed. That penultimate episode entirely in the wall was the best.
  4. Consumed - Heavy Metal Winner. Best song of any Tony Hawk game ever IMHO.
  5. I've actually got a complete. Got it last summer and didn't use it once! But yeah, I'll definite come meet you down the Bay when it's possible just to cruise around the ramps. I've never been one for tricks.
  6. I LOVED Mid90s. It really resonated hard with me. Inner city LA vs rural Monmouthshire aside, there were a lot of parallels between my early adolescence and Stevie's. I was quite emotional at the end of it actually. Just pure drowning in nostalgia and remembering how much I loved that time.
  7. Can we talk about how badly Rick and Morty fell off? First two seasons felt genuinely fresh and very funny and well written. Third season less so but still with some really good bits. I'm not sure I can put my finger on why exactly, but this fourth season seems like trash to me.
  8. The Last Dance (Bulls/MJ docuseries) is killing it right now. If they'd dumped all the episodes in one go I'd have done 10 hours back to back only stopping for food and piss breaks. 2 episodes a week is a nice pacing though and it's given me something to look forward to in lockdown. It's really a masterpiece in Sports docs, with superb editing and structure. Just brilliantly crafted the way they use key moments from the 98 season (MJ's last in Chicago) to relate back to the key moments of his career and tell his entire story. Highly recommend.
  9. Put it this way, I've only watched the film twice but the making of documentary probably 5 times! It's breathtaking stuff. The balls on that guy to even attempt it.
  10. I think the first thing I did when I got home from the cinema was download the soundtrack. Johann Johannsson. He dead now.
  11. Either of you seen Russian Ark? That's what I thought Jay was getting at. A technical fucking miracle that film is. Not an enjoyable movie exactly, but a true one of a kind work of art.
  12. Probably in the number 1 spot of the last decade. Top 5 ever is fucking impossible so I'm just gonna throw out 5 that come to mind, cuz I'm not trying to spend all night thinking about something that would probably be different next week! Inglorious Basterds Whiplash Arrival La Haine Royal Tenenbaums
  13. It's difficult to argue outside of RD and PF from a pure cinema point of view I guess. Outside of those I reckon I'd go Inglorious and then Hollywood.
  14. I dunno about it being his best film, but I’m glad you liked it!
  15. Kinda surprised I've never heard of them, but yeah, I'm digging that.
